WAVERLY, Iowa – The Wartburg College Knights baseball team (2-6 overall) takes to the road for a weekend series against the LeTourneau University YellowJackets (10-6). The two teams play in a doubleheader starting Saturday at 3 p.m., with a final game of the series coming on Sunday at 1 p.m.

This is the first meeting between the two programs.
Wartburg
The Knights are led in batting by freshman infielder Jarod Harris (Manchester) with his .444 average (min. 15 at bats). Sophomore infielder
Parker Ridge (Marion) is the team's leader in RBIs with six, followed by junior infielder
Tyler Hovick (Roland) with five.
Sophomore outfielder
JoJo McNair (Joliet, Ill.) leads the team with three stolen bases, followed by Hovick with two. Junior pitcher
Ben Milewski (Lake Villa, Ill.) leads the starting pitchers with 17 strikeouts and 3.75 ERA.
LeTourneau
Brandon Ramirez leads the club with a .417 batting average, followed by Bryce Brueggemeyer at .407 and Jacob Jones at .344. Brueggemeyer leads the squad with six homeruns and 20 RBIs.
Raul Martinez leads the starting pitchers with a 2.30 ERA. Relief pitcher Ryder Lognion leads the pitching staff with 22 strikeouts, followed by 16 from Kolby Sharpe and Kolton Eberlan, respectively.
