The Series
The Knights lead the all-time series 84-59. The last time the two teams met was on April 30, 2018, where Wartburg won 6-4. The Norse have claimed four of the last six meetings.
Wartburg
The Knights are looking to rebound after suffering back-to-back losses against Central College on Sunday. Leading the team in batting is junior infielder
Tyler Hovick (Roland) with an average of .347 (min. 20 at bats). Trailing Hovick is fellow classmate
Andrew Walker (Eagan) with a .344 and freshman utility player
Bryce Butler (Mason City) with a .300 average. Hovick and sophomore infielder
Parker Ridge (Marion) share the team lead in RBIs with nine apiece, followed by Walker, freshman

Sophomore
JoJo McNair (Joliet, Ill.) leads the team in stolen bases with 10 in 10 attempts. Junior
Ben Milewski (Lake Villa, Ill.) leads all starting pitchers with a 3.66 ERA, followed by junior
Tony Rex (Oelwein) with a 4.50. Sophomore
Dylan Gotto (Peosta) leads the group in strikeouts with 33, followed by Milewski with 28.
Luther
The Norse are coming off of a split series with the Univ. of Dubuque on Mar. 30. Leading the team in batting is Kelby Johnson with a .400 average, followed by Owen Vander Linden with a .389 and Trent Athmann with a .386. Vander Linden and Athmann share the team lead in RBIs with 14 each, followed by Luke Plunkett and Joe McKibben with 11 apiece.
Colin Coffey leads Luther's pitchers with a 2.23 ERA in six appearances, followed by Joey Cardamon with a 2.38 ERA in six appearances. Coffey leads the crew in strikeouts with 28, followed by Cardamon with 19. The Norse are coached by Bryan Nikkel. He is assisted by Josh Cook and Shane Sellner.
