WAVERLY, Iowa – The Wartburg College Knights baseball team (11-23 overall, 8-13 A-R-C) will hit the road to face the Loras College Duhawks (14-17, 8-13) in its final American Rivers Conference series of the regular season. The two teams will play a single game on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

The Series
The Orange and Black own the all-time series at 81-49. Last season, Loras won three-straight over the Knights after being defeated by Wartburg in the previous 10 meetings.
Wartburg
The Knights are riding a three-game win streak, their longest of the season, heading into the series. Junior

Tyler Nunemaker (Ely) is second on the team in batting with a .282 average, followed by sophomore

Sophomore
Darren Kilpatrick (Fairfax) leads the team's starting pitchers with a 4.39 ERA, while sophomore
Dylan Gotto (Peosta) is second with a 4.50 ERA. Gotto's 63 strikeouts lead the team, followed by junior
Ben Milewski (Lake Villa) with 50.
Loras
The Duhawks are entering the series on a six-game skid that dates back to April 16. Austin Konagel leads the team in batting with a .325 average (min. 80 at bats) on 126 at bats. Cole Thompson is second on the squad with a .300 average, followed by Robbie Agerbeek with a .298. Agerbeek leads the team with 26 RBIs, followed by Thompson and Jake Oglesby with 19 apiece.
Tanner Fallon leads the club in ERA with a 1.93 in 12 appearances. Sam Marhefke leads all pitchers in starts (9) to go along with his team-leading 37 strikeouts. Curtis Lilienthal is second on the squad with 30 strikeouts, followed by Erik Edminster with 28 in 48.2 innings of work. The Duhawks are coached by Carl Tebon.
