Last Time Out
Wartburg split last weekend's games when they fell 3-5 against No. 14 Webster and came away victorious against Benedictine 7-2.

In the first game against Webster, the Knights held a 1-0 advantage heading into the sixth before the Worlocks ripped off a five-run inning to take a commanding lead. The Orange & Black put up two tallies in the ninth but the rally fell short. Wartburg's Dylan Gotto suffered the loss despite a solid pitching performance. He notched six strikeouts in seven innings, allowing three earned runs. Senior outfielder Jojo McNair recorded a game-high three hits on five at bats.

In the victory against Benedictine, Darren Kilpatrick turned in another solid pitching performance for the Knights, earning the win while allowing two earned runs in eight innings pitched. The Knights tallied 11 base hits on seven runs scored, scoring three through the third inning and adding four later, including a three-run seventh inning. Ethan Hayes, Ben DeKruyf, and Bryce Butler each recorded multi-hit performances, including a 3-for-4 game for Butler. William Armstrong and DeKruyf each registered two runs batted in.
