WAVERLY, Iowa— Opening American Rivers Conference action at home, the No. 8 Wartburg Knights (17-0, 2-0) are set to face Luther College (2-14, 0-2) on Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Levick Arena.
The Knights hold a 44-30 lead in the series and have won the last several meetings. The Norse of Luther last defeated the Knights in 2016.
A Look at the Numbers
As a team, the Knights lead the nation in digs per set (20.93 per set). The Knights lead the A-R-C in nine additional categories.
Wartburg is one of nine unbeaten team in the nation, joining No. 1 in the AVCA, Johns Hopkins.
Katie Foster is No. 3 in the nation in total digs, while holding the No. 6 spot in digs per set. Five additional Knights lead the conference in assists per set, blocks per set, hitting percentage, and total blocks.
Kylie Bildstein leads the conference in hitting percentage at .433 and sits at No. 10 nationally.

Weekly Honors
With impressive performances last week, Foster and Bildstein earned defensive and offensive players of the week. Foster, who earned the honor for the fourth time this season, tallied 92 digs over five matches. Bildstein, earning the honor the third time, recorded three games with a hitting percent of .526 or higher.
Last Time Out
The Knights went four sets against Gustavus before sweeping Augsburg, Augustana, and Carleton at the Wartburg Invitational. Going 5-0 in matches, the Knights improve their record to 17-0, 2-0 A-R-C.
