CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference announced its weekly honors on Monday, Apr. 1 with Wartburg's Joey Ciero earning baseball's pitcher of the week honor.

His Accomplishments:

• Ciero pitched eight scoreless innings to lead the Knights to a 4-0 win over Dubuque.
• His eight innings of work was a season high in innings pitched.
• He recorded five strikeouts and allowed six hits on 33 batters faced.
• The Glen Ellyn, Illinois native is garnering his first career Pitcher of the Week accolade.

The Knights are in action next on Tuesday, Apr. 2 at home against No. 25 Buena Vista University at 6 p.m.
