INDIANOLA, Iowa – Baseball was defeated 7-4 on the road by Simpson College to open American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) play on Friday, Mar. 21. The Knights move to 6-6 and Simpson is now 6-8 overall.

  • Simpson broke the scoreless tie with four runs in the bottom of the third inning after an RBI single, RBI groundout and two RBI double
• Sixth Inning
  • Wartburg got on the board when Griffin Troha doubled down the left field line to score both Keegan Schmitt and Zach Walton
  • Simpson got two runs back in the bottom of the inning after an RBI single and double to make the score 6-2

  • After reaching base, Caleb Andrews was able to score in the seventh inning when Eliot Jurgensen reached base on an error that brought Andrews home
