BIRMINGHAM, Alabama- The Wartburg men's and women's track & field teams have completed the final day of the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. The men's team finished in 9th place with 17 points and the women's team finished in 15th place with 13 points.

Alex Kerr (4x400m First-team),
Jimmy Weispfenning (4x400m First-team),
Tonie Torboh Jr (Triple Jump Second-team),
Lance Sobaski (3000m First-team),
Isaiah Hammerand (3000m First-team), and
Hutton Edney (4x400m First-team, 800m First-team) earned All-America honors on the men's side.
Olivia Tollari (4x400m First-team),
Natalie Bork (4x400m First-team),
Leah Cherry (4x400m First-team), and
JoJo Tyynismaa (4x400m First-team, 60m Hurdles First-team, 60m First-team) earned All-America honors on the women's side.

(M) Triple Jump (Finals):
Tonie Torboh Jr finished 12
th with a 13.99m 45-10.75 mark. Torboh Jr earns Second-team All-America honors, which is the first in his career.

th with a 12.62m 41-5.00 mark.
RUNNING EVENTS
(M) 3000 (Finals):
Lance Sobaski finished in seventh place with a time of 8:09.82, which is a program record. Sobaski earns First-team All-America honors, which is his fifth total career honor. It's Sobaski's first career honor in the event.
Isaiah Hammerand finished in 10
th place with a time of 8:15.11. Hammerand earns Second-team All-America honors, which is his second total career honor. It's Hammerand's first career honor in the event.
(M) 800m (Finals):
Hutton Edney earned a top three finish with a time of 1:51.10, which breaks his own program record. Edney earns First-team All-America honors, which is his second career honor in the event.
(W) 60m Hurdles (Finals):
JoJo Tyynismaa finished in seventh place with a time of 8.68. Tyynismaa earns First-team All-America honors, which is her third consecutive honor in the event.

JoJo Tyynismaa placed eighth with a time of 7.73. Tyynismaa earns First-team All-America honors, which is her first in the event.
