ST. LOUIS, Missouri- The Wartburg men's and women's track and field teams took part in both the WashU Distance Carnival and WashU Invite today. Isaiah Hammerand set the new program record in the 10000m.

FIELD EVENTS (Wash U Invite)
(M) Shot Put: The Knights had the top two finishers in the event. Deacon Vasey was victorious with a 14.28m 46-10.25 mark. Eli Keahna was the runner-up with a 14.25m 46-09.00 mark. Will Evans finished seventh with a 12.83m 42-01.25 mark.  
 
(W) Shot Put: The Knights had three competitors in the event. Emma Kuhlmann (11.63m 38-02.00) placed third, Ana Glawe (11.43m 37-06.00) placed sixth, and Olivia Rowedder (11.37m 37-03.75) placed seventh.
 
(M) Hammer Throw: Eli Keahna earned a top 10 finish with a 42.87m 140-07 mark. Deacon Vasey was the next top performer for the Knights with a 42.45m 139-03 mark. Will Evans (35.42m 116-02) and Carson Luense (33.60m 110-03) followed.
 
(W) Hammer Throw: Lydia Kriegel earned the event victory with a 46.59m 152-10 mark, which ranks 19^th on the TFRRS list for this season. Addison Phillips earned a top 10 finish with a 37.40m 122-08 mark. Emma Kuhlmann (37.02m 121-05) and Olivia Rowedder (27.35m 89-08) were the next top finishers for the Knights.
 
RUNNING EVENTS (WashU Distance Carnival)
(M) 10000m: Isaiah Hammerand broke the program record in the 10000m with a time of 29:20.48 with his fourth place finish in the event. Hammerand stands third on the TFRRS list for this season. Ander Julian ranks fifth on the program's top 10 list with a time of 29:57.02. Julian stands eighth on the TFRRS list for this season. Ayden Buchanan finished with a time of 30:43.21, which stands 17^th on the TFRRS list for this season. Seth Bailey finished with a time of 30:49.71, which stands 19^th on the TFRRS list for this season. AJ Schermerhorn finished with a time of 30:59.74.
 
(W) 10000m: Lydia Maas finished with a time of 36:32.10, which ranks ninth on the program's top 10 list. Maas stands 12^th on the TFRRS list for this season. Morgan Engel finished with a time of 37:06.16, which stands 17^th on the TFRRS list for this season. Ava Vance finished with a time of 38:16.90.
