CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa- The Knights No. 6 ranked men's and No. 10 ranked women's track and field teams completed the last day of the Mount Mercy Open. Ben Frazier put together a historic performance by breaking the program record in the 100m dash.
 
Nathan Ahern (800m Elite), Sophia Stahle (400m Hurdles), AJ Wright (200m Elite), Weston Johnson (110m Hurdles), Ben Frazier (100m), and the women's 4x100m relay (Sophia Stahle, JoJo Tyynismaa, Olivia Tollari, Amanda Davis) earned event wins.

FIELD EVENTS
(M) Triple Jump: Tonie Torboh Jr placed fourth in the event with a 14.02m mark, which ranks seventh on the program's top 10 list.
 
(W) Triple Jump: Samantha Nielsen placed in the top four with a 10.64m mark.
 
(M) Pole Vault: Gage Heyne was the lone competitor for the Knights. Heyne finished with a 3.45m mark.
 
(M) Hammer Throw: Deacon Vasey led the Knights in the event with a 45.56m mark.
 
(W) Hammer Throw: The Knights had two competitors finish in the top five. Abby Veld placed fourth with a 47.72m mark, which ranks 10^th on the program's top 10 list. Lydia Kriegel followed with a 46.76m mark.
 
(M) Discus: Cael Schramm was the top performer for the Knights with a 42.00 mark.
 
(W) Discus: Abby Veld earned a runner-up finish with a 43.00m mark.
 
RUNNING EVENTS
(M) 1500m: The Knights had two competitors in the top five. Nolan Wieneke earned a runner-up finish with a time of 4:11.36. Mason Coulter finished fifth with a time of 4:22.95.
 
(W) 1500m: Allie Kounkel was the lone competitor in the event for the Knights and finished with a time of 5:56.77.
 
(M) 800m Elite: Nathan Ahern earned the event victory with a time of 1:50.76, which is a facility record. Ahern ranks third on the program's top 10 list and stands fifth on the TFRRS list for this season.
 
(W) 800m Elite: Haley Meyer was the top performer for the Knights and placed fourth with a time of 2:16.94
 
(M) 800m Open: Rylan Martin earned a top three finish with a time of 1:56.90. AJ Angus finished in the top five with a time of 1:57.48.
 
(W) 800m Open: The Knights had three individuals in the top five. JoJo Tyynismaa (2:17.37) placed second, Janae Hansen (2:19.64) placed third, and Natalie Bork (2:23.70).
 
(M) 400m Hurdles: The Knights earned four of the top five spots in the event. Seneca Molstre earned a runner-up finish with a time of 54.08. Molstre ranks ninth on the program's top 10 list and stands 19^th on the TFRRS list for this season. Christian Timmerman (57.90) took third, Weston Johnson (58.40) took fourth, and Mitchell Darst (58.69) took fifth.
 
(W) 400m Hurdles: Sophia Stahle earned the victory with a time of 1:04.92. Ryann Decker (1:06.45) finished second, Lillian Olson (1:07.50) finished third, and Katelyn Zelle (1:09.21) finished fourth.
 
(M) 400m: Benjamin Roussell earned a top five finish with a time of 50.66.
 
(W) 400m: Leah Cherry earned a runner-up finish with a time of 1:01.56. Lillian Olson finished in fourth place with a time of 1:01.65.
 
(M) 200m Elite: The Knights had the top two finishes in the event. AJ Wright was victorious with a time of 21.61. Jimmy Weispfenning was the runner-up with a time of 21.82.
 
(M) 200m Open: Jordan Cleaves led the Knights to a runner-up finish with a time of 22.60. Jeffrey Oestreicher placed fourth with a time of 22.88.
 
(W) 200m Open: Olivia Tollari earned a runner-up finish with a time of 26.00.
 
(M) 110m Hurdles: The Knights had three competitors finish in the top five. Weston Johnson earned the event victory with a time of 14.87, which ranks eighth on the program's top 10 list. Austin Rindels earned a top three finish with a time of 15.07. Seneca Molstre finished fifth with a time of 15.25.
 
(W) 100m Hurdles: Grace Braden was victorious with a time of 14.54. Braden's prelim time (14.30) ranks fifth on the program's top 10 list.
 
(M) 100m: Ben Frazier broke the program record in the prelims with a time of 10.57. Frazier earned the event victory.
 
(W) 100m: Aly Stahle was the top performer for the Knights and finished with a time of 12.74 in the finals.
 
RELAYS
(M) 4x100: The Knights had two relay teams place in the top three. AJ Wright, Jordan Cleaves, Jimmy Weispfenning, and Aidan Gruver finished in second with a time of 42.00. Samuel Rew, Jeffrey Oestreicher, Noah Schmidgall, and Ben Frazier finished in third with a time of 42.28.
 
(W) 4x100: Sophia Stahle, JoJo Tyynismaa, Olivia Tollari, and Amanda Davis represented the Knights and earned an event victory. They finished with a time of 47.70, which stands 17^th on the TFRRS list for this season. Kiana Carnes, Leah Cherry, Caitlin Benesh, and Amelia Wright represented the next top Knights relay team and finished in the top three with a time of 49.36.
