ROCK ISLAND, Illinois- The Knights No. 5 ranked men's and No. 10 ranked women's track and field teams finished their weekend competing at the Augustana Meet of Champions. Ema Roberts (High Jump) and Abby Veld (Shot Put) earned event wins in today's action.

FIELD EVENTS
(M) High Jump: Cael Schramm put together the top finish for the Knights with a 1.80m 5-10.75 mark.
 
(W) High Jump: Ema Roberts was victorious with a 1.63m 5-04.25 mark. Samantha Nielsen followed to earn a runner-up finish with a 1.53m 5-00.25 mark.
 
(M) Long Jump: Jayden Maten was the top performer for the Knights and finished with a 6.39m 20-11.75 mark.
 
(W) Triple Jump: Samantha Nielsen led the Knights and finished with a 10.55m 34-07.50 mark
 
(M) Javelin Throw: Trent Polley earned a runner-up finish in the event with a 54.75m 179-07 mark.
 
(M) Shot Put: Deacon Vasey was the top competitor for the Knights in the event with a 14.77m 48-05.50 mark.
 
(W) Shot Put: Abby Veld earned a first place finish with a 13.54m 44-05.25 mark. Veld ranks ninth on the program's top 10 list and stands 13^th on the TFRRS list for this season.
 
(M) Discus: Cael Schramm led the Knights in the event with a 44.17m 144-11 mark.
 
(W) Hammer Throw: Abby Veld earned a top three finish in the event with a 50.80m 166-08 mark, which ranks third on the program's top 10 list.
 
RUNNING EVENTS
(M) 1500m: AJ Angus led the team in the event and finished with a time of 4:09.24
 
(M) 800m: AJ Angus once again was the top performer for the Knights and finished with a time of 2:01.35
