CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Wartburg College baseball senior
Andrew Robinson has been named American Rivers Conference Position Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Robinson (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/ Cedar Rapids Prairie) powered the Knights' offense in a three-game sweep of the University of Dubuque, hitting .556 with five hits, including a double, and three RBI over the weekend.
Robinson also made program history, wearing his 25th hit-by-pitch of the season to set a new single-season school record while helping Wartburg establish a new team mark of 81. He currently ranks ninth in NCAA Division III in hit-by-pitches.
On the year, Robinson is batting .286 with 32 hits, including 11 doubles, and 16 RBI. Defensively, he owns a .968 fielding percentage across 35 starts.
Wartburg enters postseason play as the No. 4 seed in the 2026 American Rivers Conference Tournament, set for May 7–9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Knights will face No. 5-seeded Central College in the quarterfinal round Thursday at 11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
