LACROSSE, Wis.—The Warturg basketball team (4-0 overall) advance to the Championship game at UW-LaCrosse’s tournament with its 65-57 win over North Central (2-3) Saturday.
 
Two Knights, senior Stephanie Reiter (Buckingham) and junior Abi Weidemann (Iowa Falls) led the team in double digits with 18 and 12 points, respectively on the day. Weidemann also finished a perfect 6-6 at the free throw line.

Senior Leslie Wilson (Austin, Minn.) led the team on the glass with her seven rebounds.

After North Central opened the game on a 10-4 run, Wartburg answered with a 13-0 run of its own. The Orange and Black took the 30-17 lead at halftime and built their margin to as many as 20 in the second frame.

Wartburg will play host-UW-LaCrosse in the Championship game Sunday at 3 p.m.
