BELTON, Texas-- Senior Baleigh O'Brien set a new career best with 29 points in Wartburg's 67-62 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor Wednesday.
With the win, the Knights now stand at 6-3 on the year and have won their last four straight games.
O'Brien also recorded her fifth double-double of the year as she had a team-best 10 rebounds.
Freshman Bobbi Burrows was the squad's second-leading scorer as she finished with 12 points.
The Orange and Black held the 35-20 lead at halftime but the Crusaders compiled a strong second-half scoring effort and brought the score within two points with 3:21 remaining.
Wartburg made its free throws down the stretch to hold off the late-game rally.
The Knights return to the court next Friday at their own invitational against Northwestern (Minn.) at 5 p.m.
