WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg women’s basketball (18-8 overall) fresh off its 59-53 overtime win over Loras, will travel to face Simpson (20-5) in the semifinals of the Iowa Conference Tournament Thursday at 7 p.m.
Both teams each won the home game against each other during the regular season. The Knights are 5-2 in the tournament semifinals and are 3-3 against the Storm in the history of the tournament.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:
Three players are averaging double-digits and are led by 12.9 PPG from senior Leslie Wilson (Austin, Minn.). Classmate Stephanie Reiter (Buckingham) follows closely with her 12.1 and junior Abi Weidemann (Iowa Falls) rounds out the trio with 10.5.
Wilson also leads the team on the glass with her 5.9 rebounds per game and classmate Terri Dirks (Monticello) is closely behind with 5.6.
Reiter is also averaging a team-best 3.0 assists per game.
Simpson:
The Storm enter Thursday’s game on an eight-game winning streak and are the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
Two players, Stacey Schutjer and Kate Nielsen lead the squad with 13.4 and 13.3 PPG, respectively.
Nielson leads the team on the boards with her 7.7 rebounds per game and Schutjer is close behind with 7.2.
