WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg women’s basketball team (16-5 overall, 9-3 IIAC) travels to face Iowa Conference opponent, Dubuque (12-10, 7-6), Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The Spartans took the first game of the season, 49-43 on Jan. 11.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:
The Knights sit atop the IIAC standings, tied with Simpson for first place with two weeks remaining of the regular season.

Seniors Leslie Wilson (Austin, Minn.) and Stephanie Reiter (Buckingham) co-lead the squad with 12.0 PPG. Junior Abi Weidemann (Iowa Falls) joins them in double digits with her 10.4 PPG.

Wilson also has a team-best 6.1 rebounds per game and Reiter averages nearly three assists per game (2.95).

Dubuque:
Mollie Whiting leads the Spartans with her 13.9 PPG and Aimee Reyzer follows closely behind with her 13.2. Heather Taylor has a team-best 6.2 rebounds per game.
