MINNEAPOLIS-- The Wartburg men's soccer team (1-0-1 overall) played in its second consecutive overtime game Saturday night.

The Knights drew a 1-1 tie against Augsburg College (1-0-1) in double overtime.

Junior Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) scored on a pass from sophomore Zubeen Azari (Spirit Lake) at 24:31.

This remained the score through halftime when the game went into a 1:19 lightning delay before the second half commenced.

The Auggies evened the score at 52:38.

Both teams had one shot on goal in the two extra sessions, but neither team was able to score to end the game in a tie.

Wartburg returns to the field Thursday when it travels once again to the Twin Cities to face Macalester College at 7:30 p.m.
