CHICAGO-- Sophomore Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) scored a career-high 27 points in Wartburg's 73-64 win over North Park Sunday. She had a career-best nine field goals which included five treys and was a perfect 4-4 at the free throw line. Sommer was also named to the All-Tournament team.

Three fellow Knights finished in double figures as senior Bobbie Burrows (Bondurant) and sophomore Miranda Murphy (Alleman) each had 13 and senior Kailey Kladivo (Traer) finished with 11. Murphy and Kladivo led the team on the boards with eight rebounds each.

The Orange and Black finished .460 from the field which included .500 from three-point range.

Wartburg is off from competition until Saturday when it travels to face UW-Eau Claire at 3 p.m.
