MOUNT VERNON, Iowa-- Wartburg moved its winning streak to four with its 75-62 win over Cornell Saturday. The Knights are now 6-1 and Cornell is 4-3.

Four Wartburg players finished in double digits as senior Bobbie Burrows (Bondurant) had a team-best 14 points. Classmate Kailey Kladivo (Traer) had 12, while sophomore twin sisters Kristie and Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) tallied 11 and 10, respectively. Kladivo now needs 41 points to reach the 1,000 mark for her career. She tallied a team-high eight rebounds in the game.

The Orange and Black held the team advantages in all three shooting percentage categories and held the lead in all four quarters.

Wartburg is off from competition until next Saturday when it travels to face Edgewood at 4:15 p.m.
