Lacrosse Hosts Two Final Home Games

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's lacrosse team (3-9 overall, 2-2 MWLC) hosts Beloit (6-5, 3-1) Saturday at 2 p.m. and Illinois Tech (4-8, 2-2) Sunday at 1 p.m. Illinois Tech will face Cornell Saturday.



MWLC Tournament
The top four teams will qualify for the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Tournament May 1-2. Concordia (Wis.) has solidified the top seed and will serve as host.

Wartburg
Junior Megan Howe (Monona) has scored 17 goals, senior Niki Harrison (Rochester, Minn.) 16, and freshman Kyra Saragaglia (Schaumburg, Ill.) nine.

Freshman Karolina Paulsen (Colorado Springs, Colo.) has 131 saves in the net.

Paulsen ranks 15th in saves, 19th in saves per game and 61st in save percenatage among all DIII players.

Beloit
Michelle Dillon has scored a team-best 36 goals and Libby Storrick follows with 31. Three other Bucs are in double-digits: Hannah Drexler (19), Kelley Flint (11), and Sara Fithian (11). Marie Bonine has 57 saves in goal.

Illinois Tech
Florencia Carrerou has 23 goals, Cassandra Reineke has 17, Isabel Fitzpatrick Meyers has 11 and Sarah Maciorwoski has 10. Briana Villagrana has 101 saves in the net.
