No. 6 Wartburg Travels to No. 19 Bethel

WAVERLY, Iowa—The No. 6 Wartburg football team (1-0 overall) travels to face No. 19 Bethel (1-0) Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Series
The Royals lead the all-time series, 4-2, but the Knights claimed the meeting last year in Waverly, 31-14.

Career Record Watch
Senior Logan Schrader (Kildeer, Ill.) needs five touchdown passes to be the program's all-time career leader in this category.

Classmate Brandon Domeyer (Manchester) has moved into ninth on the all-time rushing leaders list with 2,542 yards and is fifth with 37 rushing touchdowns.

Senior Logan Pitz (Farley) moved into third on the leader list in pass breakups with 30 to date.

Bethel
Bethel opened its season on the road with a 35-20 victory against UW-Stout last week. Quarterback Andrew Dzurik threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Marshall Klitzke was just shy of eclipsing the century mark as he had 99 yards on the ground.

Drew Neuville led the receivers with 92 yards and two TDs.

Wartburg
Schrader threw for 234 yards with two TDs in the season opener 35-27 win over Augsburg last Saturday.

The Knights moved to 9-0 in night home openers in the Walston-Hoover Stadium era (since 2001).

Domeyer and junior Jake Haberman (Clarion) finished with 59 and 58 yards, respectively.

Senior Robbie Anstoetter (Farley) led the receivers with five receptions for 74 yards while classmate Gunner Tranel (Cedar Rapids) led the defense with nine total tackles (one solo and eight assists).
