Knights Host Prairie Wolves on Senior Day

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team (11-5-1 overall, 4-2-0 IIAC) hosts Nebraska Wesleyan (6-6-3, 2-5-0) Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The senior class will be recognized before the game.

The Series
The all-time series tied at 2-2. The Knights won the most-recent meeting, 2-0, in 2015.

Wartburg
Senior Paris Martins (Coralville) has a team-high seven goals, while sophomore Ayo Adebayo (Rochester, Minn.) has six. Sophomore goalie Paul Koebke Barsic (Madison, Wis.) has three shutouts.

NWU
Will Weber is the leading scorer with seven goals, Drew Miller has six, and Brady Blazek has five. Blazek, who has a team-best nine assists, leads the team in points with 19.
Keeper Jack Nespor has three shutouts.

Wartburg ranks in the top 100 of four statistical categories, which the NCAA released Monday.

The Knights rank 46th in total assists (28), 52nd in total goals (35), 53rd in total points (98), 75th in assists per game (1.75), 89th   in scoring offense (2.19) and 90th in points per game (6.13).
 
Individually, one Knights ranks in the top 100 of one statistical categories: Adebayo ranks 64th in game-winning goals (3).
