WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 8/8 Wartburg College women's basketball team (7-0 overall) hosts Viterbo University (2-9) Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The V-Hawks hosted the University of Jamestown on Friday, but results were not available at press time.

The Series
Viterbo holds the all-time series lead at 3-1, but the Knights were victorious in their meeting last year in LaCrosse, 69-47. The programs had not met since 2006 prior to last season.

Wartburg
Junior Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) leads the team with 15.0 PPG and 6.9 rebounds/game. Classmate Miranda Murphy (Alleman) is second with 14.4 PPG and 6.4 rebounds/game.

Sommer has a team-high 41 assists.

Viterbo
As of Thursday, Alyssa Nilssen has a team-best 13.2 PPG and 7.9 rebounds/game. Mariah Weddle follows with 10.0, and Payton Curry has 6.4. Arissa Geiser is second with 6.5 rebounds/contest.
