Wartburg Hosts Dubuque

WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg (17-6 overall, 7-5 IIAC) hosts Dubuque (8-15, 3-9) Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Knights have clinched a bid in the Iowa Conference Tournament next week.

The Series
Wartburg owns the all-time series lead at 49-24 over Dubuque (8-15, 3-9) and has won the last three meetings.

Senior Kailey Kladivo (Traer) leads the team with 14.4 PPG and 8.3 rebounds/game. She has 1,150 career points to date which ranks ninth-best on the program's all-time leader list.

Sophomore Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) is the second-leading scorer with 12.1 PPG.

Dubuque
Emily Brinker paces the Spartans with 16.7 PPG. Abbey Meyer and Braanna Steen also average double digits with 13.7 and 10.3 PPG.

The Knights are ranked 15th in three-point field-goal percentage (35.5), 18th in three-point field goals made (173) and three-point field goals per game (7.5), 35th in field-goal percentage (42.3), 37th in assist to turnover ratio (1.03), 50th in assists (353), 53rd in defensive rebounds per game (29) and three-point field goals attempted (488), 54th in fewest turnovers (344) and assists per game (15.3), 69th in scoring offense (69.4), 70th in scoring margin (10.7), 74th in won-lost percentage (73.9) and final points (1,597) and 99th in three-point field-goal defense (27.0).
 
Individually, three Knights are ranked within the top 100 in seven statistical categories. Senior Bobbie Burrows (Bondurant) is ranked 30th in three-point field goals made (59), 41st in three-point field goals per game (2.57), 57th in three-point field-goal percentage (37.6) and 70th in three-point field goals attempted (157). Classmate Kailey Kladivo (Traer) is ranked 87th in field-goal percentage (48.1). Sophomore Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) is ranked 63rd in assists (99) and 70th in assists per game (4.3).
