Wartburg hosts Concordia-Chicago in home opener
Wartburg (2-1 overall) hosts Concordia-Chicago (0-5, 0-1 MWLC) Saturday at 3 p.m. This is the inaugural season for the Cougars and the first meeting between the teams. Concordia-Chicago is also a member of the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference.

Senior Ashley Lahti (Turtle Lake, Wis.) and sophomore Kyra Saragaglia (Schaumburg, Ill.) lead the team with five goals each. Lahti has seven points, and sophomore Allie Stahmer (Chicago) matches that with four goals and three assists.

Sophomore Karolina Paulsen (Colorado Springs, Colo.) has made 28 saves in net.

Concordia-Chicago
Margaret Doane leads the team with seven goals. Sonja Sorenson follows with five, and Anna Kellar has four.

Goalkeeper Melissa Franco has made 34 saves.
