Wartburg Travels to Face Aurora

WAVERLY, Iowa---The Wartburg lacrosse team (5-3 overall, 2-1 MWLC) will travel to face Aurora University (1-5, 0-1) Saturday.

Wartburg
Wartburg is led by senior Megan Howe (Monona) who has 24 goals and junior Sophia Corpstein (Anamosa) who has 18 goals. In goal, sophomore Karolina Paulsen (Colorado Springs, Colo.) has 61 saves.
 
Aurora
Leading the Spartans is Kenny Hughes with 17 goals. Rachel Cochran follows with 10 goals. In goal, Allee Samuel has 40 saves.

National Stat Rankings
The lacrosse team is ranked within the top 100 in seven categories, as released by the NCAA on Tuesday.
 
The team is ranked 20th in saves percentage (.544), 31st in scoring defense (6.71), 42nd in assists per game (6.14), 48th in win percentage (.714), 53rd in scoring margin (4.43), 65th in turnovers per game (15.86) and 75th in points per game (17.29).
 
Individually, four Knights rank in the top 100 in eight categories. Senior Ashley Lahti (Turtle Lake, Wis.) is ranked 62nd in assists (11). Classmate Megan Howe (Monona) is ranked 43rd in goals (23), 92nd in goals per game (3.29) and 97th in points (26). Sophomore Karolina Paulsen (Colorado Springs, Colo.) is ranked 21st in save percentage (.546) and 28th in goals-against average (6.77).  Classmate Allie Stahmer (Chicago, Ill.) is ranked 28th in assists (15) and 48th in assists per game (2.14).
