WAVERLY, Iowa-- A late rally by Wartburg wasn't quite enough to overtake Augsburg's strong second half effort in the 12-10 loss Saturday.

The Knights led 7-5 at halftime but the Auggies tied it with 21:16 to go in the second half. Senior Ashley Lahti's (Turtle Lake, Wis.) fifth goal of the day regained the lead for the Orange and Black with 20:29 remaining and Augsburg knotted the game once more with 16:36 to play.

The Auggies netted four unanswered goals to take the 12-8 lead. Sophomore Allie Stahmer (Chicago) and senior Megan Howe (Monona) scored within 30 seconds of each other to make it 12-10 with 1:22 to play. Augsburg won the ensuing draw control, but turned it over with 40 seconds left as the ball went out of bounds. A Knights turnover with 22 seconds left helped seal the win for the visitors.
