PELLA, Iowa-- Seven players finished in double digits in Wartburg's (20-2 overall, 12-1 IIAC) 92-58 win over Central (9-12, 2-10) Saturday. The Knights reached the 20-win mark on the season for the second consecutive year and third time in the last six.

Twin sisters Kristie and Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) led the team with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Juniors Abbie Haupert (Collins) had a career-best 13, Miranda Murphy (Alleman) tallied 12 and classmates Morgan Neuendorf (Shell Rock) and Megan Murphy (Alleman) and sophomore Adrienne Boettger (Cedar Falls) all had 10. Boettger's total tied her career mark.

Katie was the leading rebounder with six and added five assists.

The Knights never relinquished their lead after they went ahead 7-5 just three minutes into the contest. The Orange and Black scored 33 points in the third quarter alone.

Wartburg held the team advantages in all three shooting percentages and held the Dutch to .188 from beyond the three. The Knights also owned the battle of the boards at 49-29 which included 16 on the offensive glass.

The Orange and Black return to the court Wednesday when they host Luther at 6 p.m.
