Wartburg Travels to Face Concordia, Beloit to Open Conference Play

WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg (1-1 overall) travels to face Concordia Wisconsin (1-2) Saturday at 2 p.m. and Beloit (2-3) Sunday at 1 p.m. to open Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference play. Concordia Wisconsin was picked to win the MWLC in the preseason coaches poll.

The Series
The Falcons and the Buccaneers each hold the series lead at 2-0.

Concordia Wisconsin
Emily Kuhlman is the leading scorer with seven goals and Lauren Paquin follows with six. 

Beloit
Hannah Drexler leads her team with eight goals and Tate Mitchell follows with seven.

Wartburg
Junior Allie Stahmer (Chicago) leads her squad with seven goals and senior Sophia Corpstein (Anamosa) follows with six.

The Knights rank 4th in turnovers per game (8.50), 7th in saves percentage (0.680), 11th in scoring defense (4.00), 33rd in scoring margin (7.50), 55th in caused turnovers per game (11.00), and 100th in scoring offense (11.50).

Individually, two Knights rank in the top 100 of two different categories. Junior Kyra Saragaglia (Schaumberg, Il) ranks 6th in caused turnovers per game (4.00). Junior Allie Stahmer (Chicago, Il) ranks 77th in goals per game (3.50).
