Lacrosse Hosts Illinois Tech, Concordia Chicago

WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg (2-3 overall, 0-2 MWLC) hosts Illinois Tech (6-1, 3-0) Saturday at 1 p.m. and hosts Concordia Chicago (2-5, 0-4) Sunday at noon.

The Series
The all-time series lead is tied at 1-1 between the Knights and the Hawks. Wartburg holds the series lead at 1-0 over the Cougars, as they claimed last year's meeting.

Junior Allie Stahmer (Chicago) is the leading scorer with 13 goals. Senior Sophia Corpstein (Anamosa) follows with 12, and sophomore Ashlyn Jelinek (Stillwater, Minn.) has six.
Freshman Laura Sinkovitz (York, Pa.) has 30 saves.

Illinois Tech
Alyssa DeLuca leads her team with 32 goals. Isabella Rubin follows with 23, while Isabel Fitzpatrick and Madison Meredith each have 12.
Goalie Abbie Reynolds has 27 saves and is 5-1-0 in net.

Concordia Chicago
Anna Kellar leads the team with 27 goals, while Sydney Fuller and Margaret Doane follow with 13 goals each.
Krystal Phillips has 71 saves.

The Knights rank 33rd in saves percentage (0.530), and 62nd in scoring defense (7.75).

Individually, two Knights rank in the top 100 of two different categories. Junior Kyra Saragaglia (Schaumberg, Il) ranks 53rd in caused turnovers per game (2.50). Freshman Laura Sinkovitz (York, Penn) ranks 49th in save percentage (0.511), and 52nd in goals-against average (7.67).
