Wartburg Travels to the Twin Cities for Two Conference Games

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's lacrosse team (3-5 overall, 1-3 MWLC) travels to face Hamline (6-2, 4-1) Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Augsburg (6-3, 3-2) Sunday at 11 a.m.

Hamline
Dana Almquist leads the Pipers with 31 goals for 31 points. Radian Lenz follows with 15 goals and Kalley Elwell has 11. Molly Dionne has 51 saves.

Augsburg
Helena Nguyen has 27 goals and Delaney Everett has 26. Marissa Guillou has 71 saves.

Wartburg
Junior Allie Stahmer is the leading scorer with 16 goals and senior Sophia Corpstein (Anamosa) followed with 14. Sophomore Ashlyn Jelinek (Stillwater, Minn.) rounds out the leading scorers with 10.

Freshman Laura Sinkovitz (York, Pa.) has 52 saves.

Wartburg ranks in the top 100 of two NCAA stat categories.

The Knights rank 54th in scoring defense (7.63), and 57th in saves percentage (0.504).

Individually, one Knight ranks in the top 100 of two different categories. Freshman Laura Sinkovitz (York, Penn) ranks 55th in goals-against average (8.00), and 84th in save percentage (0.480).
