LISLE, Ill.-- The Wartburg women's lacrosse team's (7-8 overall, 3-6 MWLC) winning streak came to an end in the narrow 9-8 loss to Benedictine (Ill.) (7-7, 4-5) Saturday. The Eagles scored the game-winning goal with 11 seconds left on a free position shot.

The Knights led 6-3 at halftime until Benedictine (Ill.) netted five unanswered goals in the second frame.
