Wartburg Triumphs Over Clarke, 16-5

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's lacrosse team (4-7 overall) defeated nonconference opponent Clarke (4-5), 16-5 Thursday. Junior Allie Stahmer (Chicago) led the scoring frenzy with five goals. Senior Sophia Corpstein (Anamosa), junior Sierra Lovato (Phoenix) and freshman Alex Pollock (Chaska, Minn.) all recorded hat tricks with three goals each.

Pollock also had a team-best two assists in the game.
