Strong Second Half not Quite Enough in Loss to Dubuque

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's lacrosse team (3-4 overall) compiled a strong second half, but were unable to overcome Dubuque's initial margin in the 8-4 loss Wednesday.

The Spartans led 4-1 at halftime. Freshman Bri Greiskaln's (Oakdale, Minn.) second goal of the day later made it a two-goal game (7-5) with 1:18 to play. Dubuque won the ensuing draw control and ended the Knights' rally.

Junior Ashlyn Jelinek (Stillwater, Minn.) and Greiskalns each had two goals.
