WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 23/24 Wartburg women's basketball team (10-2 overall, 3-0 American Rivers) travels to face Central (5-7, 2-2) Saturday at 2 p.m. The Knights are tied for first in the conference standings while the Dutch are seventh.
Central enters the game on a three-game winning streak, while the Orange and Black have won their last four-straight.

Wartburg owns the all-time series lead at 57-24. The Knights have claimed the last 12 meetings, which dates back to the 2012-13 season.

Junior Emma Gerdes (Cedar Falls) leads the team with 12.9 PPG. Senior Adrienne Boettger (Cedar Falls) and junior Amanda Brainerd (DeWitt) and join her in double figures with 11.2 and 10.7 PPG, respectively.
Brainerd leads the team on the glass with 5.7 rebounds/game and Gerdes has a team-best 59 assists.

The Dutch have three players in double digits as Jenna Clark leads the way with 13.0 PPG. Kendall Brown and Kristin Hubert follow with 12.0 and 10.8, respectively.
Brown nearly averages a double-double with a team-best 8.0 rebounds/game.

Brainerd is the 11th-leading scorer (12.7 PPG) and is perfect from the free throw line to lead the league (12-12).
Gerdes is the second-leading rebounder (9.3/game) and assists leader (6.3/game).
