No. 14/15 Wartburg Concludes Regular Season at Dubuque

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 14/15 Wartburg women's basketball team (21-3 overall, 14-1 American Rivers) travels to face Dubuque (3-21, 1-14) Saturday at 2 p.m. to conclude the regular season. The Knights are in first place in the A-R-C standings and have clinched the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament next week, and the Spartans are in ninth.

Wartburg enters on a 10 game winning streak, while Dubuque has lost its last eight-straight.

The Series
The Knights lead the all-time series 57-24, which includes the last nine-straight. The programs have met every season since 1979-80.

Wartburg
Senior Adrienne Boettger (Cedar Falls) leads the team with 13.3 PPG and junior Emma Gerdes (Cedar Falls) follows at 11.6 PPG. Gerdes has a team-best 5.7 rebounds/game and 112 assists.

Boettger has a team-best .696 field goal percentage, while junior Amanda Brainerd (DeWitt) leads the team from beyond the arc (.422) and from the free throw line (.843).
