WAVERLY, Iowa – Top-seeded Wartburg women's basketball hosts No. 4 seed Coe College on Thursday, Feb. 27 during an American Rivers Conference Tournament Semifinal matchup at 7 p.m. inside Levick Arena.
The Knights closed out the regular season on an eight-game winning streak, clinching a fourth consecutive regular season conference championship with a 14-2 league record to earn the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye.
Coe earned the No. 4 seed for the conference tournament with a 10-6 A-R-C mark and advance to the semifinal round with a 72-69 win over No. 5 seed Simpson College in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday.

Conference Tournament Notes
- Wartburg has won three consecutive conference tournament titles, most recently a 73-61 win over Loras last season for program's fifth conference tournament crown.
- No program has won four-straight tournament championships since the inception of the league tournament in 2000. Outside of Wartburg's current streak, Simpson won three consecutive from 2008-2010.
- The Knights' last loss during the conference tournament came in 2016, a 66-60 loss against Coe in the quarterfinals.
- Coe has earned a pair of conference tourney titles, back-to-back in 2011 & 2012.
Wartburg
- The Knights closed out the regular season with a 22-3 overall record, capping the season with an 88-47 win at the University of Dubuque to claim a fourth-straight regular season title.
- It marked the first time in Iowa Conference women's basketball history that a program earned four consecutive regular season crowns.
- On Wednesday, Feb. 12 versus Buena Vista, Emma Gerdes became the 17th player in Wartburg women's basketball history to join the 1000-point club. Additionally, Bob Amsberry earned his 400th career win as a head coach.
- Wartburg is ranked No. 7 in the latest WBCA top-25 poll and No. 8 by D3hoops.com.
- The Knights are ranked first in the final West Region rankings.
- Nationally, the Orange & Black rank first with a 49 percent field goal percentage.
- In addition, Wartburg ranks among the top-five nationally in total points, scoring offense, three-point field goals per game, assists per game, and total assists.
- Emma Gerdes ranks among the top-25 nationally in assists and assist/turnover ratio.
Coe
- The Kohawks took down No. 5 seeded Simpson 72-69 on Tuesday to advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2016, tying a season-high with 12 three-point field goals made.
- Coe is searching for its first conference tournament title since 2012. The Kohawks last reached the playoff finals in 2014, falling to top-seeded Loras.
- Junior guards Jackie Feldt and Madeline Wilkins pace the Kohawk offense.
- Feldt leads the team with an average of 15.2 points per game, while Wilkins ranks among the top-10 nationally in three-point field goals made and three-point field goals per game.
