No. 5/8 Women's Basketball Set For Top-25 Game at No. 12/12 Simpson

WAVERLY, IA—The No. 5/8 Wartburg Knights women's basketball squad is set for a top-25 match-up as the Knights travel to No. 12/12 Simpson College Storm for an American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) game on Dec. 11.
 
The Storm of Simpson hold a 37-51 series lead of the Knights, winning two of the last three meetings. The Knights won nine straight meetings from Jan. 31, 2015 to Jan. 29, 2019.
 
Britney Young, Sara Faber, Brea Dillavou, and Jaedon Murphy have all recorded career-best games as the Knights have cruised to a 7-0 start.

Sara Faber recorded a career-best 17 points as the No. 5/8 Wartburg Knights women's basketball squad held the University of Northwestern (MN) Eagles to three points in the third quarter. The Knights, who took the lead early, defeated the Eagles 79-46 inside Levick Arena.


The Knights defense held the Eagles to 24 percent shooting from field goal range, while allowing only six three-pointers. The Knights defense allowed only three points by the Eagles in the third quarter.
