Love's School Record Headlines Liz Wuertz Triangular

WAVERLY, Iowa - The Wartburg College men's and women's track & field team wrapped up competition versus Nebraska Wesleyan University and Loras College during the Liz Wuertz American Rivers Conference Triangular Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, inside Hoover Fieldhouse, with the Knights' Deyton Love highlighting the meet while breaking the Wartburg indoor 60-meter hurdle record.

Love, a freshman sprinter from Waterloo, Iowa, topped his teammate Dallas Wright in the Wartburg record book, running the 60-meter hurdles in 8.08 seconds. Wright previously set the indoor record during the 2021 season opener with a time of 8.16.

As a team, the men were bested by Loras by 25 points, tallying 105 compared to 130 from the Duhawks. The women took first with 126 points, finishing ahead of an 111-point effort from Loras.
