Love, a freshman sprinter from Waterloo, Iowa, topped his teammate
Dallas Wright in the Wartburg record book, running the 60-meter hurdles in 8.08 seconds. Wright previously set the indoor record during the 2021 season opener with a time of 8.16.
As a team, the men were bested by Loras by 25 points, tallying 105 compared to 130 from the Duhawks. The women took first with 126 points, finishing ahead of an 111-point effort from Loras.
