WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg lacrosse will travel to Mount Vernon, Iowa on Saturday, April 10 for a Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference match against Cornell College at 11 a.m. at Van Metre Field at Ask Park.

Cornell College will allow spectators to attend its home outdoor athletics competitions this spring provided that fans maintain masking and social distancing from other families and groups of people. There is no capacity limit at Cornell's outdoor athletics events on campus.

Bri Greiskalns had a stellar day as she totaled seven goals, three assists and 10 points.
The Oakdale, Minn. native Greiskalns leads Wartburg with 26 goals, 10 assists and 36 points, including hat tricks in five out of the seven games this season. Sophomore
Lindsay Langford has had a strong season for the Knights with 14 goals and 17 points. The Orange & Black average eight tallies per contest on 20.9 shots, including a shot on goal percentage of 71.9%.
Cornell enters the game following a 19-1 win over Beloit back on Saturday, March 27. The Rams average 13.25 goals per contest on 32.2 shots. Cornell has recorded a shot on goal percentage of 76% and has converted on 67% of its clear attempts. Junior Nina Deer leads the Rams with 15 tallies while senior Emily Beehler has totaled a team-high five assists. Junior goaltender Maddie Althoff has started in three matches this year and has a save percentage of 62.2% and a goals against average of 4.58.
