CORAL GABELS, Fla—Finishing with top marks at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, the Wartburg College Knights Track & Field squad saw multiple athletes finish inside the top-8.
Dallas Wright led all competitors in the 400 Hurdles, timing in at 51.70.
Deyton Love and
Dalton Closson competed in the 400 Hurdles, clocking in at 54.68 and 57.13 respectively.
In the 110 Hurdles, Wright (14.52) and Love (14.60) finished inside the top-8 as Closson timed in at 16.35.
Breya Christopher competed in the triple and high jump at the event. Christopher recorded a jump of 11.18m in the triple jump, while recording a top-8 finish in the high jump (1.66m).
Carson McSorley placed fifth in the 400 Hurdles, racing a 1:03.79.
Jackie Ganshirt raced a 56.95 in the 400 Dash, while
Brenna Jacobs (58.69) and
Taylan Olson (1:02.06) raced in the event for the Knights.
The Knights 4x400 relay squad placed sixth in the event. The relay team of McSorley, Jacobs, Olson, and Ganshirt raced a 3:52.20.
