DES MOINES, Iowa—The Top-10 list for Wartburg Track and Field was shaken up on Saturday, April 30 as the nationally ranked Knights competed in the final day of the Drake Relays.
Ellie Meyer,
Jackie Ganshirt,
Carson McSorley, and
Aubrie Fisher jumped into the Knights Top-10 list, clocking in at 12:02.82 for a third-place finish overall. The squad was the highest Division III squad in the Distance Medley relay.
Frosty Lorimer,
Wyatt Schmidt,
Dalton Martin, and
Christopher Collet took third in the distance medley relay, timing in at 10:01.79. The squad's time is the second fastest time in school history.
Sean Henson,
Deyton Love,
Dallas Wright, and
Riley Nolan took home fifth in the men's 4x100, timing in at 41.55. The squad's time places them on the Knights Top-10 list.
In the women's 4x400, McSorley,
Brenna Jacobs,
Rachel Nagel, and Ganshirt took home seventh place with a time of 3:53.59.
Wright, Love,
Dalton Closson, and Quinten Sommer grabbed a top-8 finish in the Shuttle Hurdles, clocking in at 1:01.56.
Sailor Hinegardner,
Aricka Lambson,
Ryin Lehmann, and
Brooke Shafer finished in sixth in the women's shuttle hurdles, timing in at 1:05.52.
