MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – Lacrosse fell to Cornell College 7-2 on Wednesday, Apr. 26 in a low scoring defensive battle. The Knights are now 2-11 overall and 1-5 in Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference.
Game Summary
- First Period
- After almost eight minutes of scoreless play, Cornell scored the first goal in a man-down disadvantage
- Neither offense was able to score in the first period and Cornell led 1-0 after one quarter
