No. 6/6 Women's Basketball set to host Opening rounds of NCAA Tournament

WAVERLY, Iowa – No. 6/6 Wartburg women's basketball will host the first and second rounds of the Division III NCAA women's basketball tournament. The first-round games will be at 5:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Friday, March 1. The second-round game will be played at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 2.

Series History

  • Wisconsin Lutheran
    • This will mark the fourth meeting all-time between these programs
      • Wartburg is 3-0
    • Second-straight NCAA Tournament matchup in the series
    • Friday will mark the first home game of the series for Wartburg
  • Concordia Moorhead
    • If Wartburg and Concordia Moorhead advance, it will be the first meeting in program history on Saturday
  • Illinois Wesleyan
