WAVERLY, Iowa – The No. 10 Wartburg women's wrestling team will head to Indianola, Iowa, for the inaugural American Rivers Conference dual with Simpson College at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, before traveling to Forest City, Iowa, to participate in the Waldorf Open on Saturday, November 8, beginning at 9 a.m.

KYNER ENTERS THIRD SEASON AT THE HELM
Head coach
Brady Kyner enters his third season leading the Wartburg women's wrestling program. A 2022 Wartburg graduate and two-time All-American during his collegiate career, Kyner has compiled an 11-6 dual record and coached 10 All-Conference selections and two All-Americans.

Wartburg begins the 2025 season ranked No. 10 in the NWCA Women's Wrestling Preseason Coaches' Poll, earning 15 first-place votes—the program's highest preseason ranking to date. The Knights' previous best was No. 18, and their highest ranking overall came at No. 10 on Jan. 16, 2024.

Wartburg was selected to win the 2025 A-R-C Women's Wrestling Championship, earning five first-place votes and 35 total points in the conference's preseason coaches' poll.

LAST SEASON...
The Knights finished with a 7-3 overall record, capturing the inaugural American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Championship and the Division III Invite title in East Moline, Ill. Wartburg also placed runner-up at the NCWWC Regionals in Indianola before a 22nd team-finish at nationals.
The program set a school record with 14 NWCA Scholar All-Americans, while 10 wrestlers earned All-Conference recognition. Returning standout
