MANHEIM, Penn. -- The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has released the NCAA Women's Scholar All-American Awards, recognizing outstanding academic achievement by individual student-athletes across the nation.
The Wartburg College women's wrestling program led the country with a new program-best 21 honorees during the 2025-26 season, announced by the organization Friday.
A total of 540 student-athletes representing 92 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
The scholar awards follow the conclusion of the NCAA Women's Championships, which took place March 6-7. McKendree captured the inaugural team title with 171 points and four individual champions.
