WAVERLY, Iowa -- Wartburg College head coach Brady Kyner has named Jaycee Foeller as Interim Assistant Women's Wrestling Coach ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Foeller brings an accomplished collegiate wrestling career to Wartburg, competing at the highest levels of women's collegiate wrestling throughout her career. Foeller was a four-time collegiate national finalist, and two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

"We are excited to announce the addition of Jaycee Foeller as an Assistant Coach for Wartburg Women's Wrestling!", said Kyner.

"Jaycee has exceeded expectations at every level-from competing on the mat to leading and helping Missouri Women's Wrestling become a dominant force across the country. I had the opportunity to watch her coach, communicate, and prepare her athletes this summer in Fargo, and it was clear that she has something special to offer the next generation of women's wrestling. We couldn't be more excited to have Jaycee joining our program and family. The future is bright!" 

Foeller was a three-year letterwinner at the University of Iowa from 2023-2026, under the direction of head coach Clarissa Chun.

During her senior season at Iowa in 2024-25, Foeller captured the NCWWC Regional Championship before finishing as the NCWWC National Runner-Up and earning All-American honors. She also won the Eagle Madness Open and finished runner-up at both the Luther Hill Open and Soldier Salute.

Foeller finished as the NCWWC National and Region Five runner-up in 2024-25, while also winning the Warrior Open and placing second at the Grand View Open.

Prior to her time at Iowa, Foeller competed at Central Methodist University during the 2022-23 season. She finished runner-up at the Heart of America Conference Championships and the NAIA National Championships while also earning runner-up honors at the Grand View Open.

Foeller began her collegiate career at McKendree University, where she was the 2021 MoVal Open champion and a regional runner-up before finishing as the 2022 NCWWC runner-up.

A decorated high school wrestler, Foeller compiled an undefeated 121-0 record and earned multiple national-level accolades. She was a USMC Cadet champion in 2018 and placed at the USMC Cadet and Junior Championships on multiple occasions. She was also the recipient of the 2021 Trisha Saunders High School Award of Excellence and was a member of the National Honor Society.

"I'm incredibly excited to step into a new chapter and have the opportunity to coach", said Foeller. "Competing has taught me so much about discipline, perseverance, leadership, and what it truly means to be part of a team. I can't wait to give back to a sport that has given me so much!". 
 
Foeller will begin her duties immediately as the Wartburg College Women's Wrestling team prepares for its 2026-27 season.
