WAVERLY, Iowa --- Eight members of the Wartburg women's wreslting team will travel to Spokane, Wash. this week to compete in the USA Wreslting World Team Trials. Four Knights will compete in the U20 division on Thursday and Friday, Apr. 9-10 before the remaining four Knights take on the U23 division on Saturday and Sunday, Apr. 11-12.

Three Knights competed in this event last season with the only returner being
Aniyah Kelly, who took seventh place in the U23 division to earn All-American honors. Seventh place is the highest individual finish in program history at this event.
Wartburg was in action last at the inaugural NCAA Championships held in Coralville, Iowa on Friday and Saturday, Mar. 6-7, where the Knights finished 11th place as a team comepting against programs across all NCAA Divisions. Both

Kylie Rule enter the World Team Trials as All-Americans after earning top-eight finishes at last month's NCAA Championships.
World Team Trials Information
- The World Team Trials process is open to all U.S. citizens eligible to represent the United States of America at the World Championships as governed by United World Wrestling (UWW) and USA Wrestling (USAW) rules.
- Athlete must be a United States citizen; and have completed USA sporting nationality with UWW prior to the athlete's World Team and Pan Am Games Tryout event.
