MOUNT VERNON, Iowa -- The No. 13-ranked Wartburg College women's wrestling team turned in a series of strong individual performances at the 2026 Cliff Keen Mike Duroe Invitational, facing a large and competitive field that featured multiple nationally ranked programs.

At 103 pounds, Wartburg placed two wrestlers in the top five. Jacey Mason earned a fourth-place finish after advancing through the consolation bracket with a fall and a technical fall, whle Lainey Shelangoski followed with a fifth-place finish.

At 110 pounds, Ava Gardner placed fourth after posting four bonus-point victories, including three technical falls in the consolation rounds. Carissa Hersom added a sixth-place finish at the weight, earning multiple consolation victories.

Jasmine Luedtke led the Knights at 117 pounds with a second-place finish. Luedtke advanced to the championship bout with three falls and finished the tournament with 21 team points.

At 124 pounds, Ayane Jasinski placed seventh after recording three bonus-point wins, while Leah Chandler added team points with a consolation-round fall.

At 138 pounds, Kaydence Boorn finished eighth after a consolation run that included three-straight falls, scoring 10.5 team points. Rachel Fode also collected bonus-point wins in the championship rounds.

Izzy Giza paced Wartburg at 145 pounds with a fourth-place finish, scoring 13.5 points. Alex Harswick followed with a sixth-place result after winning three-consecutive matches by technical fall.

At 160 pounds, Julie Maylum placed third, earning 19 team points with two falls and an injury default victory in the third-place match. Hailie Krueger added a sixth-place finish after advancing through the consolation rounds with multiple bonus-point wins.

Elizabeth Kalinay rounded out the day for Wartburg at 207 pounds with a sixth-place finish, contributing 10 team points.
