Luedtke earns A-R-C Women’s Wrestler of the Week award

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Wartburg College sophomore Jasmine Luedtke (Ottumwa, Iowa/Ottumwa HS) has been honored with the American Rivers Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week, announced today.  

Luedtke posted a 3-1 record at the Cliff Keen Mike Duroe Invite, recording three first-period pins to secure a runner-up finish. Her opening three bouts were decided in a combined time of 3:45. 

Champ. Round 1 - Jasmine Luedtke (Wartburg) won by fall over Deirdre Toyomura (Simpson) (Fall 0:45) 
Quarterfinal - Jasmine Luedtke (Wartburg) won by fall over Zhivanna Magdaleno (Northern Michigan University) (Fall 1:33) 
Semifinal - Jasmine Luedtke (Wartburg) won by fall over Sevanna Aguirre (Simpson) (Fall 1:27) 
1st Place Match - Harlee Hiller (Iowa) won by tech fall over Jasmine Luedtke (Wartburg) (TF 10-0) 
 
Luedtke has tallied up 17 wins this season, eight by fall, four by decision and three tech falls, totaling 49.5 team points. 
 
The Knights (10-1 overall) gear up for the 2026 American Rivers Conference Women's wrestling championships at the P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium next Saturday, Jan. 24. Championship Saturday will begin at 10 a.m.
